Wow so I realized that it’s been a long time since I’ve talked about what’s going on in my life. Last week was pretty much all planned in advance so there were no inner ramblings for you. Well, it’s Monday and that means it’s a marvelous one to share what’s going on in my neck of the woods!
marvelous is… the weather finally turning. Goodbye 35 degree nights, hello 90 degree days. We meet again.
not so marvelous is… watching my brother’s team lose in quarter finals to a team they should have beat. Goodbye lacrosse season.
marvelous is… getting into Bikram. I don’t love it but I don’t hate it. It gets a little bit better every day.
marvelous is… hitting up the beach solo style. I rarely go to the beach when I’m home because let’s face it, NH beaches suck. Not to mention I work at a beach so it’s the last place I want to be during my time off.
not so marvelous… putting my towel down right in front of the seniors at my high school on their senior skip day. Wasn’t so relaxing when I was ducking from footballs flying in every direction and listening to their drunken rambles.
marvelous is… going out with my high school best friend. We drifted apart once i left town but when we do get together it’s like nothing has changed. We gossiped until 1am about everything from sports to school to boys, of course. The free spirit in her gave me the kick in the butt I needed. I knew there was a reason I kept her around ;)

marvelous is… another absolutely gorgeous weekend in RI. The weather cannot be beat. I got to hang out with my favorite people- the dockhouse guys, my family, and my grandparents. It all feels real now. Like it’s finally time.
marvelous is… having a much busier week planned than the last. A lot of my friends are finally home which means this week is chock-a-block full. No more sitting on the couch finishing a book a day, falling asleep mid-chapter, and going to bed at 7:30. Time to be a college kid.
and the most marvelous of all is… moving down to the boat for the remainder of the summer on Thursday! Almost time!!!
